Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse featured many comic-book elements. But there were some strict rules that the production team had to follow.

During a recent quarantine watch party of Into the Spider-Verse, co-producer Christopher Mille commented on the film's restrictions for dialogue boxes. "One rule was no dialogue boxes or anything too comic book-y until after Miles is bitten," Miller said.
