Jake Johnson's Peter B. Parker from Sony Pictures Animation's hit film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse wasn't really on the red carpet at the 91st Academy Awards. But thanks to Into the Spider-Verse character animator Martín C. Amorós, we have a good idea of what he might've looked like if had had attended the Oscars.Amorós posted a piece of artwork to Twitter which features Peter at the prestigious awards ceremony. Naturally, this jaded version of the iconic character couldn't exactly be bothered to dress up. Rather, he sports the outfit that he wore for much of the film: his Spider-Man suit, sweatpants and a large coat. he accented this outfit with a bowtie for the special occasion.RELATED: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse's Miles Morales 'Accepts' Golden GlobeAdditionally, even though his film is up for the Best Animated Feature honor, Pete doesn't seem too thrilled to be at the event, as evidenced by the cup of coffee that he's holding and the dialogue box that reads, "This place is pretentious."

This, of course, is a reference to one of the character's lines from the hit animated film. When Peter first sees the shed used by his deceased alternate self (played by Chris Pine) from Miles Morales' universe, he momentarily believes that, despite how much younger and better off his other self seemed to before his demise, perhaps they had more in common than he previously thought.

However, Peter soon realizes that while his shed was just a shed, the other's Peter's was simply a front for an elevator that led to a massive Batcave-esque underground headquarters. Visibly annoyed by this, Johnson's Peter once again quips, "This place is pretentious."
