The upcoming Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse sequel has enlisted comic book artist Kris Anka.

Anka announced his involvement with the film on Twitter, though he did not specify how he will contribute to it. "I can finally talk about what I’m working on next," he wrote. The post included a gif of the Into the Spider-Verse logo and the film's 2022 release date. He provided no further details.

Anka, of course, has worked on multiple Marvel Comics titles, including Uncanny X-Men, Captain Marvel, Runaways and Star-Lord. Notably, he also redesigned Jessica Drew's Spider-Woman costume in 2014. This update -- a first since the character's debut in 1977 -- gave Spider-Woman a much more contemporary look, with a red-and-black jacket, black pants and matching boots. Anka's involvement could lend credence to the recent report that Sony has plans for the character.
