Injustice 2: Starfire, Sub-Zero & Red Hood Game's First DLC Characters

Red Hood, Starfire and Sub-Zero will make their Injustice 2 presence felt in a new trailer announced sing their DLC release.

Warner Bros. Interactive and NetherRealm Studios have announced the first three DLC characters from the eagerly anticipated "Injustice 2" fighting game. Red Hood, Starfire and Sub-Zero will be available at launch for fans who purchase either the "Injustice 2" Ultimate Edition or the "Injustice 2" Digital Deluxe Edition.

As part of the character reveal, the studios have premiered new footage featuring all three of meeting in a decidedly frightening locale -- but is it as allies or enemies?

The Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition will include a total of nine playable characters; three Premiere Skins that transform select fighters into alternate characters with new looks, voices and dialogue; and two exclusive new Gear Shaders that enable players to customize the look of their roster with alternate color themes. The Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition is available for pre-order now for $99.99.

The Injustice 2 Digital Deluxe Edition will include Red Hood, Starfire and Sub-Zero as playable characters; a Premiere Skin and an exclusive Gear Shader. The Injustice 2 Digital Deluxe Edition is now available for pre-order via PSN and the Xbox Store for $79.99.

Developed by NetherRealm for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, the sequel to the hit 2013 video game “Injustice: Gods Among Us” continues the storyline, with Batman and his allies work toward putting the pieces of society back together while struggling against those who want to restore Superman’s regime.
