Injustice 2 has been out for nearly six months, and in that time, the game's roster of fighters has grown significantly. The first fighter pack added fan favorites Starfire, Red Hood, and Sub-Zero of Mortal Kombat fame. Fighter Pack 2 went even nerdier with Black Manta, Raiden, and Hellboy -- yes, that Hellboy. The third and final fighter pack goes all in and in doing so declares itself the greatest fighting game ever with the inclusion of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Yep, you read that right. The four Heroes in a Half Shell -- Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michaelangelo -- have joined Netherrealm's comic book-based fighting game, and they're fighting together as a joint unit. Exactly how that works is unclear, but we're probably not going to find out until their gameplay trailer. Given how the guest characters have always been last to come for each pack, it's safe to say that's what'll happen here as well.

Along with the Turtles, Fighter Pack 3 will include the Atom -- Ryan Choi, who we already knew about last month -- and June Moon, the Enchantress. If you've browsed the character select screen, hers you were probably able to suss out pretty quickly. Still, it's an exciting time to be a comic book fan.

Injustice 2: Fighter Pack 3 will come to PS4 and Xbox One starting with the Atom on Dec. 12. For PC players, the game will finally arrive for you to play on Nov. 14.
