A short clip from this week's Inhumans sees Maximus make use of the powers of a new Inhuman, Bronaja, who received his prophetic abilities after undergoing terrigenesis in the series premiere.

The scene sees Black Bolt's brother enlist Bronaja to see what's on the other side of an ominous-looking door. While we're not treated to the revelation of who -- or what -- it is, and Maximus' utterance of "Mortis" or "Mordus" doesn't sync with any known Inhumans from Marvel Comics lore (Mortis is an X-Men villain, so her rights presumably lie with Fox), it's obvious that whatever he's about to unleash is something he may regret.

The synopsis for Episode 3 of Marvel's Inhumans teases a focus on the betrayed royal family, though the clip shows that Maximus is still making power moves on Attilan while his relatives are stuck on Earth.

After fleeing their home, The Inhumans desperately search for each other in the wake of Maximus’ coup. Now they must learn who they can trust on Earth, on an all-new episode of “Marvel’s Inhumans,” airing on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 6 (9:01-10:01 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network.
