SPOILER WARNING: The following article contains spoilers for October 20's episode of Marvel's Inhumans.

Since arriving on Earth in the premiere, Karnak (Ken Leung) has had a bit of a rough go. Upon landing in Hawaii he severely bumped his head, wound up in the path of a trio of dangerous pot farmers and became the target of an attack from his fling's jealous ex, Reno. Thankfully, there is at least one upside to Karnak's unfortunate luck -- he shed his Royal garbs for an outfit current comics readers will find very familiar.

In 2015, all the primary members of the Inhuman Royal Family -- Black Bolt, Medusa, Gorgon, Triton, Crystal, and Karnak -- received updates to their wardrobe that ranged from major to minor. Karnak’s was probably the most major of them all after he found himself the lead of his own solo comic. Rather than wearing the typical garb that he’s worn since he first stepped onto the comics scene -- a green tunic and a helmet -- he sported a green hoodie, white t-shirt, sweatpants, and white bandages wrapped around his hands and forearms.

While Karnak on ABC's Inhumans has had the green hoodie since last week’s episode, the ensemble truly became complete during the last act of Friday's episode. After returning with Jen to the pot farm, Karnak prepares to go up against Reno. Having wrapped his hands in bandages, Karnak shows off his martial arts prowess as he best debates how to go up against a gun. Were it not for the lack of a goatee, Leung would pretty much be a recreation of Karnak’s current “costume.”

This new outfit likely won’t stick with Karnak when he and the other Royals return to the Moon in the final episode, but it’s a nice acknowledgment of his current getup. And, it allows Leung to look good while kicking ass, and sometimes, that’s enough.

Airing Fridays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC, Marvel’s Inhumans stars Anson Mount as Black Bolt, Iwan Rheon as Maximus the Mad, Serinda Swan as Queen Medusa, Ken Leung as Karnak, Isabelle Cornish as Crystal, Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Mike Moh as Triton and Sonya Balmores as Auran.
