"Marvel's Inhumans" officially began over the weekend in Honolulu, Hawaii, and we already have our first look at Anson Mount as Black Bolt and a pre-CG Lockjaw.

While it was safe to assume the members of the Inhumans Royal Family would be sporting costumes in their live-action debuts, Black Bolt's suit marks a departure from his comic-book counterpart. Of course, it's unknown whether what's seen in the photos will be the only costume worn in the ABC drama by the Inhumans king.

A co-production of Marvel Television and ABC Studios, the eight-episode series centers on the Royal Family of the Inhumans, a race of genetically advanced humans with extraordinary powers introduced in 1965 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in Marvel’s “Fantastic Four.” In addition to Mount, the drama stars Iwan Rheon as Maximus the Mad, Serinda Swan as Queen Medusa, Ken Leung as Karnak, Isabelle Cornish as Crystal, Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Mike Moh as Triton and Sonya Balmores as Auran.

The first two episodes of "Marvel's Inhumans" will premiere Sept. 1 in IMAX theaters ahead of the drama's Sept. 26 broadcast debut on ABC.
