Marvel Comics' newest Infinity Warps mash-up characters are the frankly unpredictable combination of The Punisher and the kids of Power Pack.

Infinity Warps is the result of Gamora tampering with the laws of reality in Infinity Wars. By folding the universe in half, a number of characters have been effectively combined into single beings. As a tie-in to the event, Infinity Warps showcases some of the fusions and how they live in this new world.

The solicitation test for December's Infinity Wars: Infinity Warps #2 includes perhaps the strangest combination of all -- and considering this crossover has already introduced a Wolverine/Emma Frost, that’s saying something. But one of the stories included in Infinity Warps #2 includes this world’s version of the Punisher: a group of children who gained powers as their parents were killed in front of them. Swearing vengeance on the world of crime, they became the Punisher Pack.

Created in 1984 by Louise Simonson and June Brigman, the Power Pack are four siblings who are imbued with superpowers by a dying alien. It’s typically portrayed as one of the more innocent Marvel concepts, so seeing them become the new Punishers is a special kind of strange -- and exciting.
