In Infinity Wars: Iron Hammer #1, readers met Sigurd Stark, the newly-created mash-up of Tony Stark and Thor Odinson who came into being when Gamora halved all life in the galaxy by merging every two people into one in Infinity Wars #3.

Having set the ground rules of this new Marvel Universe in the first issue, Infinity Wars: Iron Hammer #2 proceeds to flesh things out, not only by revealing even more Warped characters through a flashback exploring Sigurd Stark's past in Asgard, but by introducing the new Rainbow Bridge, known here as the B.I.F.R.O.S.T. In fact, it's by accidentally accessing this technological magic for the first time that Stark unlocks his memories of life with the Asgardian demi-gods, revealing that he once embodied the worst parts of Tony Stark and Thor rather than the best.
