It's a given now that until Avengers 4 comes out and Peter Parker returns to the land of the living, actor Tom Holland will be reminded that his character died at the hands of Thanos. Whether it's via memes of his emotionally charged final moments on Titan or fans in-person saddened by Spider-Man's death, Holland will be dealing with the fallout of Avengers: Infinity War a lot.

At Comicpalooza 2018 in Texas, Holland's already meeting some who are taking Spidey's death in stride and upping the humor factor when it comes to addressing the Marvel Cinematic Universe's heroes who withered away thanks to the Mad Titan. A few students met Holland in a photo-op and actually brought him the wall-crawler's 'remains' in tribute. All in good fun, the 'remains' turned out to be a bag of sand, poking fun at how the Avenger crumbled into dust when Thanos snapped half of the universe out of existence.

It's great to see Holland taking this joke on the chin; most likely, it's because his character is set to be resurrected and open Marvel Studios' Phase 4 with the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel in 2019. This movie will start just after the events of Avengers 4, so, until his fate is resolved next year, he'll just have to be a good sport about the Infinity War ending.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Tom Hiddleston, and Josh Brolin. The film is in theaters now.
