Thor Recruits the Guardians of the Galaxy in New Infinity War Promo

Even after the apocalyptic events of Thor: Ragnarok, and what we can presume was a devastating confrontation with Thanos, Chris Hemsworth's thunder god is still able to smile as he recruits the Guardians of the Galaxy to his cause in a new Taiwanese promo for Avengers: Infinity War.

The rest of the footage in the 30-second spot will be familiar from the most recent trailer, but most of Thor's exchange with the Guardians is definitely new. "Now, I know it feels like all hope is lost," he says, "But together, we can stop Thanos."

"I think we'll pass," Rocket Raccoon responds, before adding, "Just kidding, we're in!"

Of course, it's certainly possible the two or more scenes have been stitched together -- for instance, the quick group shot is tossed into the middle -- but it certainly feels right.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Bettany, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Tom Hiddleston and Josh Brolin, among others. The film hits theaters April 27.
