While we know that Avengers: Infinity War is set to bring over twenty heroes together to take on Thanos, the Mad Titan, it appears the film could also be bringing back some old friends that haven't been seen on screen in quite some time. Although actor Samuel L. Jackson has previously indicated he's not a part of the massive superhero team-up, an eagle-eyed fan noticed a couple of interesting additions on IMDB that seem to suggest otherwise.

/Film reader, Brian Sosin, recently pointed out that on the film's IMDB page, two crew members are listed as working with Jackson on the film: Jake Garber … make up artist for Samuel L. Jackson, and Qualen Bradley … stand in: Samuel L. Jackson.

It's worth noting that IMDB can be edited by its users, and that is should not be taken as definite confirmation that Jackson is, in fact, in Avengers: Infinity War. However, the fact that a stunt double for the actor is credited on the film makes Jackson's appearance all the more likely. After all, if you'll recall, Jackson was spotted on a mysterious Marvel set earlier this year alongside Maria Hill actor, Cobie Smulders. Perhaps he was filming a scene or two for Infinity War?

Jackson, of course, previously stated that he's not in the third Avengers film, and that he wouldn't be involved in the fourth installment, either. Things could have changed since then, however, since the actor's comments were made back in August of last year, long before any planned reshoots.

Should Jackson appear in Infinity War, this would mark the actor's first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since his small role in Avengers: Age of Ultron. He's currently at work on Captain Marvel, which is set well before the events of Iron Man and will give us a much-different Nick Fury than we've come to know thus far.
