There are many mysteries heading into Avengers: Infinity War, with one focusing on the role Peter Dinklage will play in the ensemble film. Will he be providing motion capture scenes for a character, or will the Games of Thrones star lend his voice to one of Thanos' Black Order children?

Directors Joe and Anthony Russo are adamant that fans will at least recognize Dinklage from the moment they see (or hear) him on-screen, with Joe Russo promising, "It may take you a beat or two, but you’ll certainly recognize him." However, a new promo for Infinity War that ran on Good Morning America appears to confirm Dinklage is voicing the leader of the Black Order, Corvus Glaive.

The clip shows Captain America's "Secret Avengers" unit of Black Widow and Falcon getting the best of Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive, who is already laying defeated on the ground when the action begins. As Proxima Midnight (voiced by Carrie Coon) orders Corvus Glaive to get up, he responds, "I can't."

Though it's only two words, they appear to be uttered in the unmistakable voice of one Mr. Peter Dinklage.

In January, rumors surfaced that Dinklage was “in early talks” to join the cast of Infinity War for a “key role.” Early speculation was a new haircut for Dinklage would lead the actor to play Pip the Troll, the Marvel Comics character that debuted in 1975’s Strange Tales #179. Created by Jim Starlin, who also created or co-created such characters as Thanos, Drax the Destroyer and Gamora, Pip is most often associated with the fan-favorite Adam Warlock, for whom he serves as a comedic foil.

However, it was always more likely that Dinklage would round out the voice talent in the Black Order after the filmmakers confirmed that Irish actor Tom Vaughan-Lawlor would play Ebony Maw, who’s shown torturing Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange in the latest trailer, while highly regarded motion-capture performer Terry Notary (Kull: Skull Island, War for the Planet of the Apes) is the largely silent Cull Obsidian, better known in the comics as Black Dwarf.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Tom Hiddleston, and Josh Brolin. The film arrives April 27.
