Avengers: Infinity War star Sebastian Stan, who plays Bucky Barnes, has confirmed that two key characters from Ant-Man and the Wasp will appear in the film.

Speaking with The Independent, Stan revealed that Michael Douglas' Hank Pym and Michelle Pfeiffer's Janet van Dyne will both appear in a scene, along with nearly the entire cast, from the third Avengers film. "There was one scene, I think, we had where everybody was there," Stan said. "I can't really talk about that scene, but I knew it took them three months in planning this scene to have everyone there. You look around and you just saw everyone from Samuel L. Jackson to Michael Douglas to Michelle Pfeiffer. Everybody was there."

"So, I just kind of stood in the corner and looked and wanted to see how everybody was going to react," he continued. "It's surreal."

The appearance of Pfeiffer's character in the film is rather surprising, as we learned in Ant-Man that her character became stuck in the Quantum Realm some time ago. While Pfeiffer is set to portray Janet van Dyne in Ant-Man and the Wasp later this year, Stan's comments seem to suggest she will be brought back from the Quantum Realm in Infinity War. Stan's comments also support the Russo brothers' claims that the two films are connected.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Bettany, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Tom Hiddleston and Josh Brolin, among others. The films hits theaters on April 27.
