Mark Ruffalo joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2012 with The Avengers, and as Bruce Banner/the Incredible Hulk has become of the breakout stars of the blockbuster franchise. Now the actor has shared a photo from the set of Avengers: Infinity War, capturing a moment from his last day of work on the upcoming ensemble film.
He dubbed the somewhat-humorous image, which depicts him in a motion-capture suit and carrying an oversize bindle, as "the final exit."
Saw this on Reddit. Hhaha. My last day on IW. The final exit. pic.twitter.com/UfzWXfzODB— Mark Ruffalo (@MarkRuffalo) February 2, 2018
Ruffalo has said that last year's Thor: Ragnarok began a story arc for the Hulk that will span three films. With the Hulk appearing both in Infinity War and its still-untitled sequel, this photo may suggest the Green Goliath will attempt to escape the chaos of the world once more.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Anthony Mackie as the Falcon, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Tom Holland as Spider-Man, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, Chris Pratt as Star Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Vin Diesel as Groot, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, and Josh Brolin as Thanos. The film opens May 4.
