More and more promotions for Marvel Studio's Avengers: Infinity War are being released now that the blockbuster movie is only about three weeks away. With all of the new footage and images going online, many fans are left asking one big question: Where is Clint Barton, a.k.a. Hawkeye? Now, the directors of the upcoming comic book movie are saying the accurate Avenger's absence is intentional.

Over at GamesRadar, co-director Anthony Russo responded to a question about the lack of Clint Barton footage by saying, "All will be explained when people see the movie." He added, "It's all tied into the story." What role is Jeremy Renner's character playing if they can't reveal even a second of it, yet they can show Thanos brutally beating down Iron Man, as well as Captain America struggling against the Mad Titan?

Russo previously stated the marksman is in a "special spot" in the film, but only time will reveal Hawkeye's role and how he can possibly help Earth's Mightiest against the cosmic powerhouse that is Thanos and the Black Order. Ant-Man has been noticeably absent from the trailers, too (unless he is just too small to see, that is). With various heroes teaming up in Avengers: Infinity War, it would not be surprising to see Hawkeye and Ant-Man work together again like they did in Captain America: Civil War.
