Avengers: Infinity War was more than just a record-breaking smash hit at the box office. The film stirred all kinds of social media craze in the form of memes and GIFs related to the movie. Earlier this week, the Mumbai Police Department got in on the fun via Twitter, using Infinity War as a vessel to get an important message across to would-be drunk drivers.
"Rights to drive can be suspended in a ‘snap’ if you drink and drive!" the Tweet read, obviously referring to Thanos' snap that wiped out half of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's population. It also included a still from the movie, where Thanos seizes Vision just before he rips the Mind Stone from Vision's forehead. In the photo, captions explain how Vision represents drunk drivers, with the Mind Stone being their driver's license, suggesting that drunk drivers will have their license ripped away should they choose to drink and drive.
Rights to drive can be suspended in a ‘snap’ if you drink and drive! Worse could mean an accident being your ‘End Game’! We would prefer to keep you away from both #DontDrinkAndDrive pic.twitter.com/eis3ZJCCDh— Mumbai Police (@MumbaiPolice) January 7, 2019
The social media minds at Mumbai PD also referenced the newest Avengers film in their post, letting potential intoxicated drivers know that drunk driving could result in a fatal accident, making it their "Endgame." Should any drivers choose to operate their vehicle drunk around Mumbai, it's safe to say their license "won't feel so good" before it disintegrates into nothingness.
