Marvel Studios takes us behind the scenes of Avengers: Infinity War with a "Family" featurette that includes snippets of new footage from the highly anticipated film, as well comments from the stars about their Marvel Cinematic Universe experiences.
Although there are plenty of lighthearted moments, with Chris Pratt and Chris Hemsworth joking about Star-Lord as "third-string Avenger," and Benedict Cumberbatch describing his disappointment at finding Pratt to be "arduous and boring and not particularly funny," there's also tenderness.
Discussing her Iron Man franchise co-stars Robert Downey Jr. and Jon Favreau, Gwyneth Paltrow said, "You know, that out of all the people I've had the good fortune to work with, these two particular guys and the triumvirate that we've formed together, it's a very special friendship and a decade-plus of time together."
Downey, whom Mark Ruffalo characterizes as "the godfather of all of this," turns reflective about his decade in the MCU, saying, "It has literally been the adventure of a lifetime. I get a little misty thinking about it. You know, I lucked out."
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Bettany, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Tom Hiddleston and Josh Brolin.
