When Did the Infinity Stones First Show Up in the Marvel Universe?

So, in late 1989, Jim Starlin returned to Marvel and quickly brought Thanos back to life. He then sent Thanos on a quest for the gems in a miniseries aptly titled, Thanos Quest. In the first issue, after collecting two of the gems, Thanos notes that they really shouldn't ALL be called soul gems, so he coins the name Infinity Gems for them...

Obviously, we're all quite familiar with their usage as the infinity gems, right? Thanos put them all together into the Infinity Gauntlet and they've all popped up multiple times since.

However, with the movies now calling them Infinity STONES, it was only a matter of time before the comic books caught on. I believe All-New Guardians of the Galaxy #3 was the first time that they were referred to as Infinity Stones inside of a Marvel comic book, as Gamora refers to her time spent in the Soul Stone (previously the Soul Gem)...

And Marvel Legacy #1 solidified the fact that these things are Infinity STONES now...

I assume that this is a retcon and not just everyone deciding to change the name, but I could be wrong there.
