Awesome Infinity Gauntlet Cosplay Will Bring Balance

One fan took their excitement for Avengers: Infinity War to a new level by dressing up as the Infinity Gauntlet itself for C2E2.

With Marvel Studios' Avengers: Infinity War now less than a month away, it's not entirely surprising that fans have taken to showcasing their excitement in their cosplays for events such as the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo. However, one fan has taken their cosplay to the extreme by choosing to go as the Infinity Gauntlet itself.

The fan's epic cosplay was captured by Marvel Entertainment's Ryan Penagos, who was very impressed with the fan's work. While the stones are in a different placement than the gauntlet Thanos sports in the forthcoming Avengers: Infinity War, the design of the gauntlet does fall somewhat in line with the iconic look from the comics with some minor variances in stone positions.

After teasing the Mad Titan for nearly six years with a series of minor appearances, Marvel is finally set to properly introduce Thanos to the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Infinity War, and his arrival is sure to spell tragedy for our beloved Avengers. Up until recently, we've only seen Thanos sport three of the Infinity Stones: the power stone, the space stone and the reality stone. However, a recently released television spot seems to confirm that Thanos does acquire the mind stone ahead of his battle with the Avengers. Of course, while Vision had been shown without the mind stone in an earlier promotional spot, this marks the first time we've actually seen Thanos secure the mind stone in any of the released promotional spots.

With a little over three weeks until the release now, fans are eagerly awaiting what Marvel Studios is dubbing "the end." Current projections for the film have it set to open anywhere between $175 million to an astounding $200 million. It's worth noting, though, that those numbers are still too early to call as official estimates typically don't hit until closer to a film's release. Should Infinity War open to $200 million, it'll fall in line with 2012's The Avengers, which opened to $207.4 million back in 2012. One thing is for sure, though, while the box office is hard to call this far out, this fan's Infinity Gauntlet cosplay proves that we're ready to see the Mad Titan finally don the iconic weapon.
