WARNING: The following contains spoilers for the "Batman" chapter of Infinite Frontier #0, by James Tynion IV, Jorge Jimenez, Tomeu Morey and ALW's Troy Peteri, on sale now.

At the end of Dark Nights: Death Metal, Wonder Woman was granted cosmic powers that gave her a new purpose in the DC Universe. She was no longer just the Amazon Princess, she was now an all-powerful being who could shape reality. Now, in Infinite Frontier #0, Diana's journey as a cosmic deity continues. In the issue, she is approached by the Quintessence, an all-powerful group of cosmic beings made up of the Spectre, Ganthet, the Phantom Stranger and others. These characters are tasked with watching over the Multiverse, and now they invite Wonder Woman to join their ranks.

This invitation leads Diana Prince and the Spectre on a tour of the DC Universe, which itself serves as the launching pad for Infinite Frontier. And, by the end of this tour, Wonder Woman makes a major decision about her future -- one that comes with a brand new superhero costume.

While the Quintessence offers Wonder Woman to become a member of their cosmic order, Diana isn't ready to accept just yet because she believes there is yet another potential source of darkness out there threatening to attack. She doesn't want to leave her friends in potential danger, especially after everything that's happened with the Batman Who Laughs and Perpetua. The members of the Quintessence don't believe any such danger lurks in the new Multiverse, and the Spectre takes Diana on a tour of the DC Universe to prove it to her.

Together, they visit Superman, Batman, the Flash, the Justice Society of America of many more characters, both new and old, as they head off into the new beginnings of Infinite Frontier. Once the tour is done, Diana and the Spectre return to the Quintessence. While she agrees that there is no apparent threat and that those closest to her are indeed safe, she turns down their offer. All of the characters she just saw embrace change and new beginnings inspire Diana to do the same. The Quintessence are all-powerful, but their task is to observe from afar. Diana doesn't want to do that -- she wishes to be part of these changes, a part of the action, alongside the rest of her friends.

And to do that, she discards the silver cosmic armor granted to her by her new abilities, and she fashions herself a new Wonder Woman costume.

Ever since 2016's DC Rebirth relaunch, Diana has worn a red, blue and gold armor that was extremely similar to the one the character wore in the DC Extended Universe films. But now, Diana finally gets a new look for Infinite Frontier #0. This costume is clearly different, seeing as how it changes the classic red, blue and gold color scheme to focus on red, grey and black. It features a cape, as well as garments that cover her entire body to give the character a more armored,m well-protected and even regal look.

This new suit costume is different, but it's still very clearly Wonder Woman. It remains true to the character, all while signaling the start of a bold new era.
