Last week, Latino Review floated a rumor that Disney had set a date by which they wanted Harrison Ford to sign on for another Indiana Jones or else the studio would look for a new, younger actor -- with Bradley Cooper mentioned as a possible contender. The website went one step further, contending that The Walking Dead developer Frank Darabont had pitched script ideas to the studio.

However, soon enough, those rumors have been denied on two separate fronts.

Franchise producer Frank Marshall took to Twitter to debunk the report, writing, "Due to the ridiculous rumors that keep popping up, like agents pipe dreams, I will stop commenting on our projects until I have real news."

Not long after, Darbont, who also worked on The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones, told Ain't It Cool News that the report was a complete myth.

"This is an Internet rumor with not a shred of truth in it," he said. "I have not pitched an idea for a proposed Indiana Jones movie, nor has anybody approached me with such an idea. The inaccurate report on Latino Review was the first I'd heard of it."
