Actor Harrison Ford revealed filming on the long-gestating Indiana Jones 5 could begin as soon as April... or maybe this summer.

While speaking with CBS Sunday Morning for an interview that's scheduled to air Feb. 16, Ford said he was going to "start doing Indiana Jones in about two months." He then added that "When we have an opportunity to make another, it is because people have enjoyed them. I feel obliged to make sure our ambitions are as ambitious as they were when we started."However, it's also worth noting Ford will appear on the Feb. 14 edition of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and during that interview, he said production was going to begin in late summer.

"We're working away getting the script where we want it to be, and then we'll be ready to go," Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy recently said of the still-untitled fifth Indiana Jones film. "Harrison Ford will be involved, it's not a reboot. It's a continuation. He can't wait."

In September 2019, it was reported that Spider-Man screenwriter David Koepp had been re-hired for the project after being temporarily replaced by Solo: A Star Ways Story co-writer Jonathan Kasdan.

Directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Harrison Ford, the yet-to-be-titled Indiana Jones 5 arrives in theaters July 9, 2021.
