It appears Indiana Jones actor Harrison Ford is as physically impressive as ever, after Ford's Indiana Jones 5 co-star Mads Mikkelsen recalled one particularly impressive feat during the production of the upcoming film.

While discussing Ford's return as the iconic adventurer, Mikkelsen expressed how impressed he was by the 79-year-old actor's enduring physicality. "It was the first time I met him, and he’s an insanely powerful person," Mikkelsen said during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. "Not just as an actor, but physically." Mikkelsen went on to emphasize his point by describing a memorable example of Ford's 'monstrous' physicality, saying, "I remember the first day we were shooting, it was a night shoot, then we stopped at 5 a.m. — and then he got on his mountain bike and went biking for 50 kilometers. Harrison is a monster of a man, a very nice monster."

Mikkelsen's comments are likely reassuring to fans after concerns surrounding Ford's health arose when a Disney spokesperson announced Ford sustained a shoulder injury during production on Indiana Jones 5 last year. Filming was able to continue in Ford's absence, though Indiana Jones 5's release date was still delayed into 2023 -- marking the third time the movie has been delayed since it was originally announced in 2016.

Indiana Jones 5 officially wrapped filming earlier this year when producer Frank Marshall shared the news in February and teased a potential title of "Indy."

Although the film has yet to receive an official title or synopsis, rumors of its plot surfaced last year that claimed Indiana Jones 5 is set during the 1960s Space Race between the U.S. and Soviet Union to reach the moon. The rumors also reveal information on a couple of the film's supporting characters. Mikkelson is rumored to be playing the film's main antagonist, a Nazi scientist working for NASA, possibly as part of the real-life secret intelligence operation, Operation Paperclip. Shaunette Renee Wilson, meanwhile, will apparently be playing a CIA handler responsible for Mikkelsen's Nazi villain. Although none of these details have currently been confirmed, director James Mangold has seemingly hinted at Indiana Jones 5 taking place in the '60s.

Indiana Jones 5 arrives in theaters June 30, 2023.
