As part of the promotion for "Independence Day: Resurgence," 20th Century Fox has released a pseudo-advertisement asking viewers to "Visit the Ruins of Las Vegas," which they argue still has merit, even after the invasion of the first "Independence Day" in 1996.

The video jokingly touts the remnants of the city's "classic" offerings, like casinos, and the opportunity to get married by "Elvis Presley," in addition to a shooting rage, with regular pistols and advanced alien warfare at your disposal.

The description for the video reads, "On July 4th, 1996, aliens attacked our planet, destroying our cities. The Las Vegas Ruins Tourism Board welcomes you to come to Vegas and experience a vacation like no other."
