According to the sequel’s official synopsis, the movie picks up where the 2004 installment left off, with the family about to face The Underminer:

It’s a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone must find a way to work together again — which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible.

The Incredibles 2 is written and directed by Brad Bird and is due to his theaters on June 15, 2018. The film stars Craig T. Nelson as Mr. Incredible, Holly Hunter as Elastigirl, Sarah Vowell as Violet Parr, Huck Milner as Dashiell “Dash” Robert Parr, Samuel L. Jackson as Frozone, Brad Bird as Edna Mode, and John Ratzenberger as The Underminer.
