You won't like him when he's angry, and criminals will soon find out because Lou Ferrigno, star of the late '70s CBS show The Incredible Hulk, is slated to become a sheriff's deputy in New Mexico.

This is not the 68-year-old actor's first experience with law enforcement. Ferrigno previously served as a volunteer deputy in Maricopa County, Arizona, and Los Angeles, and he will be deputized by Sherriff William Armijo in a Socorro County, New Mexico ceremony on Jan. 16. Officials said Ferrigno will bring decades of law enforcement experience to the force and will be "instrumental in recruiting for the department and the county."

Aside from pioneering the role of television's only live-action Hulk, Ferrigno is also a former bodybuilder. He took home silver and bronze medals in Mr. Olympia and a gold medal in Mr. Universe in 1973. After his stint as The Hulk was over in 1981, he continued to act, extending his Hulk legacy for decades. In fact, he was the voice of several Hulk incarnations and a was even in a few episodes of Adventure Time. He also hilariously played himself in a handful of roles, including two long-running series, King of Queens and Supernatural.

Although he's fighting crime on the mean streets of Alburquerque, Ferrigno still has a few projects that are up for release this year.
