Incoming is an upcoming one-shot that is marketed to set up events that will transpire in the Marvel Universe in 2020. The incident that kicks things off involves a murder mystery, with heroes assembling to investigate the victim and killer. One of those heroes is the new wearer of the Eternity Mask, which was reintroduced in Marvel Comics #1000.

Al Ewing, one of the many writers contributing to Incoming, revealed a second magical artifact besides the Eternity Mask will also play a role in the one-shot.

Marvel.com's Tucker Markus sat down with Ewing to ask him some rapid-fire questions regarding Incoming. "Are there any other artifacts of the Marvel Universe we may learn about?" Markus asked Ewing. "The Eternity Mask is one," Ewing replied. "There is another magical artifact I created that has a big role in Incoming."

Debuting in 1939's Marvel Comics #1, the Masked Raider and his Eternity Mask reappeared in the celebrated Marvel Comics #1000, which recapped the publisher's last 80 years while passing the Eternity Mask and Masked Raider identity to a new hero.

Incoming #1, by Al Ewing, Dan Slott, Chip Zdarsky, Kelly Thompson, Greg Pak, Eve L. Ewing, Matt Rosenberg, Ed Brisson, Saladin Ahmed, Tini Howard, Jonathan Hickman, Greg Pak, Donny Cates, Jason Aaron, Humberto Ramos and Jim Cheung, goes on sale Dec. 25 from Marvel Comics.
