After seven years of feature films, we kinda know what to expect when it comes to Marvel movie posters. You put your hero in the center standing up straight, sometimes with the love interest character in front of them with their back to the viewer and a hand on the hero's chest, with some bad guy heads and/or explosions surrounding them. "Ant-Man's" first poster played by most of those rules, with Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) front-and-center and flanked by the rest of his supporting cast. Newer posters, though, have shown that the Peyton Reed-directed Marvel movie might just have a mind of its own; we've since seen a closeup of Ant-Man dodging bullets while riding on an insect and earlier today Marvel released a trio of posters that place the diminutive hero in context with the Avengers. As fun and inventive as those are, though, none of them compare to Russia's "Ant-Man" poster.

The image first popped up on Reddit and trades in the rollicking tone of the film's previous posters for a riff on classic spy imagery. The result, which sees Paul Rudd looking cockily over his shoulder while the placement of concentric circles mimic his shrinking ability, makes "Ant-Man" seem more daring and inventive than ever.

Seriously, Marvel, consider getting this poster in theaters stateside, pronto. If that doesn't get you excited for "Ant-Man," then maybe the latest TV spot will.

"Ant-Man" opens in theaters on July 17.
