UPDATE: July 12, 2015 - 5:10 PM - Imperative Entertainment and Universal Television have released the first trailer for the "Heroes Reborn" video games.

Imperative Entertainment has announced the creation of two video games that will spin out of this fall's "Heroes Reborn," which returns to the world created by executive producer Tim Kring in his 2006 series, "Heroes."

The games, titled "Heroes Reborn: Gemini" and "Heroes Reborn: Enigma," will feature two different stories from Kring. "Gemini" will be available on consoles like the XBox One and Playstation 4 as well as PCs and Macs. "Enigma," on the other hand, will be a mobile game designed for smartphones and tablets. The stories contained therein will expand the "Heroes Reborn" universe by introducing new characters and settings.

"'Heroes Reborn: Gemini' and 'Heroes Reborn: Enigma' tell two interlocking tales of characters and environments that fans of 'Heroes Reborn' have never seen. As the first games produced by Imperative Entertainment, we wanted to make sure the games lived up to our expectations and the expectations of 'Heroes' fans," Kring said in a statement. "I am proud to say that the game play and storylines are exceptional and the games are lot of fun to play."

For the first time in the franchise's history, fans will be able to experience first hand what it's like to be a hero. "Gemini" will take place from the first person point of view of a young woman named Cassanda, who must deal with her new abilities as she tries to uncover the mysteries of her past. "Enigma" will follow Dahlia as she escapes the Quarry, a secret government facility. Though both games can be played seperately, certain characters and story elements do intertwine.

Premiering Sept. 24, "Heroes Reborn" stars franchise veterans Masi Oka, Greg Grunberg, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Jimmy Jean-Louis and Cristine Rose, joined by a cast of newcomers that includes Zachary Levi, Kiki Sukezane, Robbie Kay, Judith Shekoni, Henry Zebrowski, Gatlin Green, Dylan Bruce and Nazneen Contractor.
