Walter Langkowski, a.k.a. Sasquatch, has played a substantial role in Al Ewing's current Immortal Hulk series. Though the character is currently dead, Ewing has teased the return of an all-new Sasquatch in the pages of issue #40, hitting stands Nov. 18.

"He's similar in some respects but very, very different in others. He's very much not the Sasquatch we know and love," Ewing teased in his exclusive interview with CBR.

Ewing admitted that the upcoming addition of Sasquatch was an idea that came to him quite suddenly, leaving little time for series artist Joe Bennett to prepare the character's new appearance. "But that fits with what we're doing with the character," Ewing explained. "He both is different and isn't."

Ewing also went on to praise Bennett for his efforts in bringing out the furry monster's personality traits just beneath his hideous exterior, pointing out that Bennett has been turning out his most legendary artwork throughout the entire series. "We've got things coming up -- including in the very next issue, #38 -- that are absolutely going to blow your mind," Ewing further teased.

Beyond the return of Sasquatch, Ewing also hinted at his unique take on the classic Hulk/Thing rivalry to be featured in the pages of this December's Immortal Hulk #41.
