Image prepares to "Ascend" this December, Online Trailer Now Available

ENCINO, CA -- November 4, 2004 -- Image Comics andwriter/creator Keith Arem of PCB Productions arepreparing the finishing touches on ASCEND, scheduled to hit bookshelves onDecember 8 of this year. The "Transmedia" title was previewed at the 2004Comic Con in San Diego last summer, and has garnered a lot of attentioninside and outside of the comics industry. ASCEND is the first Graphic Novelfrom writer/creator Keith Arem and co-writer Scott Cuthbertson, and takesthe reader into a post-apocalyptic Heaven, where the battle over "harvested"human souls is waged between Angels.

"Ascend originally started as a vision for a motion picture," sayswriter/creator Keith Arem. "Teaming with artist Christopher Shy gave us theopportunity to create something more than just storyboards for the film; thecharacters came alive under his brush and we all knew we had somethingspecial on our hands. After a year in development, we're excited to finallybring the finished work to the bookshelves for the fans."

Image Comics will release the book in comic book shops on December 8th, andnationwide in early 2005.
