Image Expo Announces Signing, Panel Schedule With Kirkman, Vaughan, More

When Image Expo returns for its summer session, the one-day summit on all things Image will have an extensive list of talent on hand for a number of programming and signing events. The show, which returns to San Francisco on Thursday, July 2, will kick off with a keynote address from Image Publisher Eric Stephenson and follow that up with a series of panels focusing on specific creators. Robert Kirkman, Greg Rucka, Jason Aaron and Brian K. Vaughan will all take part in the panels along with Image creators and "special surprise guests."

Additionally, the aforementioned creators will also be available for signings alongside Kyle Higgins, Alec Siegel, Nick Dragotta, Tula Lotay, Nicola Scott and Steve Skroce. The event will end with a mixer and after party. IMAGE EXPO SIGNING AND PANEL SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED

Image Comics is pleased to reveal the schedule of events for Image Expo. Attendees will enjoy a day of panels, signings, and the opportunity to learn more of what's to come from Image on Thursday, July 2 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.

PROGRAMMING SCHEDULE10:00 a.m. - Theater Doors Open for Seating

10:30 - 12:00 p.m. - Keynote AddressImage Comics Publisher Eric Stephenson's keynote address will debut several new projects and initiatives for Image Comics and our incredible roster of creators, providing a sneak peek into what's hot and new from creator-owned comics and where the comics industry goes from here.

12:00 - 1:30 p.m. - Intermission12:00 p.m. - Retail Counter Opens

Image Comics Presents: The SessionsOur afternoon programming will go into even greater detail on the projects announced during the keynote address, giving you a chance to pick the brains of the creators in attendance, gain insight into what's coming, and unveil a bit of the magic that makes an "Image comic" the hottest book on the shelves.

Signings:Alongside each panel will be signings for our attending creators. Some signings will have an item limit, require a wristband, or be closed after a certain number of guests have been admitted. Signings with an item limit and wristband requirement have been marked with an asterisk.

After Hours:Join Image Comics creators and staff at the Image Expo After Party, once again held at the Cartoon Art Museum on 655 Mission Street.

7:30 - 8:00 p.m. - Press and Retailer MixerOpen to members of the media and comic book retailers only, this pre-party mixer will be an opportunity for industry professionals and Image Comics creators and staff to discuss the day's events before the party gets underway.

8:00 p.m. - Image Expo After PartyOpen to press, retailers, premium ticket holders, and general ticket holders, the Image Expo After Party will wrap up Image Expo with drinks, snacks, and a chance to mingle with Image Comics creators and staff.

YBCA: Admission to Image Expo includes free entry to the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, our hosts for Image Expo and a treasured museum in the Bay Area. With fascinating exhibits located just next door to Image Expo, take advantage of the opportunity to enhance your Image Expo experience.
