One of the most eagerly anticipated Image Comics launches this year is Crossover, reuniting the universally acclaimed creators of God Country, Donny Cates and Geoff Shaw.

Ahead of the new comic book series' debut on Nov. 4, Image has provided CBR an exclusive look at two retailer variant covers illustrated by fan-favorite artists Tula Lotay and Peach Momoko, teasing the title's premise of everyday people enduring the cataclysmic events mainstream comics are known for.

The Lotay variant is available to order online through Hall of Justice Comics & Collectibles shows a masked mother holding her daughter's hand, as the young girl exudes a greenly lit aura. The Momoko variant is available to order through Big Time Collectibles, and has the hooded masked figure downcast as she stands before a graffiti-riddled wall with smoke swirling around her. Both comic shops offer nationwide shipping.

First announced in July, Crossover has Cates and Shaw joined by colorist Dee Cunniffe and letterer John J. Hill to craft a new creator-owned title that explores tropes within the superhero genre and the comic book medium itself, as well as how it affects the general populace of these fantastical worlds full of capes and cowls.

Written by Donny Cates and illustrated by Geoff Shaw, Crossover #1 goes on sale Nov. 4 from Image Comics.
