Every installment of this feature is about odd comic book plot points that were rarely (sometimes NEVER!) mentioned again after they were first introduced.

We continue with a suggestion from reader Mark H., as we look at exactly how much Spider-Man initially got for his photographs of Spider-Man.

Amazing Spider-Man #2 by Steve Ditko and Stan Lee was the introduction of the idea of Peter "Spider-Man" Parker making some money using photography...

So he takes some photographs of the Vulture and sells them to J. Jonah Jameson, who wants more...

Anyhow, he takes some photographs of Spider-Man's defeat of Vulture and he takes them to Jameson and check out how much money he makes...

Holy crap! Dude paid their entire rent for a year AND is going to buy her a bunch of kitchen appliances?

As you well know, that angle was pretty quickly dropped, as Peter being flush with cash wasn't exactly dramatic.

Thanks to Mark for the suggestion!
