IDW Publishing Releases Ashley Wood's "Tres Fanta"

Official Press Release

San Diego, CA, January 2, 2004. Once in a great while a creator comes along who strikes a huge chord with fans. Ashley Wood is one of those creators, releasing not only stand-alone art books but also original series such as Popbot and Lore. While appealing to the strong core base that grows with each new project, his latest release, Tres Fanta, will add significantly to that base.

IDW Publishing is very pleased to release Tres Fanta, the third in a series of art books by the popular creator. Wood's popularity has grown, not only through comics but also art magazines and entertainment sites that have covered his work, and all those new readers will be anxious to see this new collection.

Tres Fanta brings a horde of never-before-seen illustrations that fans have been begging for. Wood's work has become a major influence on many of the new up and coming artists that have broken into comics in recent years. Tres Fanta collects much of the Gold Spectrum Award winning artist's finest material to date.

"Ashley Wood is one of those rare creators who is both an artist's artist and a fan favorite," says IDW's Editor-in-Chief Jeff Mariotte. "Any conversation with today's top artists about their own favorites in the field will include Ashley's name. And his fans are absolutely devoted to his work, which just continues to break new ground."

Like the perennial sellers Uno Fanta and Dos Fantas, Tres Fanta is a 96-page, full color oversized trade paperback, with a retail price of $19.99.
