"Thor" actor Idris Elba won big last night at the 22nd annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. Elba took home two awards, one for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries for his role as DCI John Luther in "Luther," and a second for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role as Commandant in "Beasts of No Nation."

Elba made history last night as the first man to ever take home two awards during the same award show. He is also the first person of color to do so, which is a huge step in the right direction, considering the #OscarsSoWhite controversy.

Genre favorites "Game of Thrones" and "Mad Max Fury Road" also took home a SAG award last night, both in the stunt category. "Game of Thrones" won for Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Comedy or Drama Series. "Mad Max Fury Road" won for Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture. "Mad Max Fury Road" is also nominated for 10 Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director.
