WARNING: The following contains spoilers for Season 1, Episode 9, of the iCarly revival, "iMLM," available now on Paramount+.

iCarly has featured plenty of characters from the original show, but one in particular just made an interesting re-appearance. Carly's old bad boy flame Griffin appeared in the revival episode "iMLM." Moving on from his Pee Wee Babies obsessed past, Griffin now sells supplements that supposedly help boost peoples' moods and confidence.

Griffin appeared in the original iCarly in the Season 2 episode "iDate a Bad Boy." Spencer caught Griffin trying to steal the sculptor's motorcycle. Deciding to take the boy under his wing, Spencer teaches Griffin how to sculpt. Carly and Griffin initially get off on the wrong foot, though the two eventually wind up kissing. Spencer does not approve of the relationship at first, though he later repents and allows his sister to date Griffin. Carly ends up breaking off the relationship after she discovers Griffin collects Pee Wee Babies, iCarly's version of Beanie Babies.

In the revival, the two meet at Skybucks years later. Griffin tells Carly about selling his Pee Wee Babies to pay for his settlement after getting caught lying about being a hypnotist. Bankruptcy and a stint in jail later, he now sells Sand, a line of supplements that include variations for sensitivity, calmness and happiness. He describes the supplements as natural oxidants and gets Carly, Spencer and Freddie hooked on them.

The three find Sand to be just the pick-me-ups they need in their lives. Carly uses Sand to keep herself calm. Freddie uses it for the courage to tell his stepdaughter Millicent no when she asks for a puppy, and Spencer becomes more sensitive after a girl complains about his insensitivity. Freddie goes deep into the brand, quitting his job and using his savings to buy $4,000 worth of Sand. Realizing Freddie could lose a lot of money if he doesn't sell, Carly offers to feature the product on iCarly and offer it to her subscribers.

In typical iCarly fashion, things do not go as planned. Harper, Carly's roommate, realizes that Griffin is involved in a pyramid scheme after Carly tells her about Freddie buying products to sell. She and Millicent discover that Sand is actually just fish food after Millicent mixes Sand up with her fish's food. Harper rushes over to Carly's broadcast to stop her from selling the fake product, revealing the truth about Sand during the show.

Griffin reveals he knew the truth about Sand, clearly not learning from his hypnotist scam days. He makes a swift exit, leaving Freddie to ponder how he just spent $4,000 on fish food. Carly's viewers are spared from being tricked into buying fake supplements, and Freddie and Harper regrettably accept their recent unemployment.

The iCarly revival has done well bringing back original characters with wacky twists or plots. Nevel treated the gang to a robot wedding that was actually a convoluted scheme, Nora Dershlit got a whiff of the iCarly craze after years away from it, and now Griffin made a transition from Pee Wee Babies owning bad boy to ex-con pyramid schemer. Fans likely can't wait to see what original characters the revival brings back next.

Along with star Miranda Cosgrove, iCarly frequently brings back familiar characters like Griffin. New episodes air every Thursday on Paramount+.
