A reboot of Nickelodeon’s hit comedy show iCarly is set to release on Paramount+ in June. The revival picks up 10 years after the original series ended and most of the original cast will reprise their roles. Here’s where the gang left off at the end of the original series.

iCarly ended a bit abruptly, with all the characters' stories tied up in a final double-length episode. The episode began with Spencer announcing his plans of reconnecting with an ex-girlfriend when she gets back in town. He also embarked on a new project: restoring a really cool motorbike for his friend, Socko. Sam fell in love with the bike as soon as she laid eyes on it and offered to help him fix it.

When Carly finally showed up, she’s not her usual cheery self. She was unhappy because she couldn't go with her dad to a father-daughter dance. It was a tradition they shared since she was young. This year hit Carly harder because it was the last time she's still within the age limit for the daughters. Since her dad wasn’t coming around, it meant she’d never have the chance to go again.

As soon as she told Spencer how she felt, he offered to take her himself. Even though the dance was happening at the same time as his date, he was willing to sacrifice that to make his sister happy. Unfortunately, his plan didn’t go as smoothly as intended. On the day of the dance, Spencer fell ill and could barely walk, much less dance. Nevertheless, he didn’t want to disappoint Carly and still planned to escort her.

Spencer’s attempts at restoring the bike also weren’t going so great between falling ill and missing a key part. Sam stepped up and took on the majority of the repairs. She even managed to secure the final piece Spencer needed and finished repairing the bike by herself. When Sam showed the bike to Spencer, he was amazed. He also revealed that Socko didn’t need it anymore and decided to give it to Sam as a reward for working tirelessly to fix it and being such a great friend to his sister.

Spencer succeeded in hiding his illness from his sister until it was time for the dance. Right before they left, he reached his limit and collapsed, causing Carly to realize he was sick. After making sure her brother was okay, Carly couldn't hide her disappointment and confessed to Sam about how upset she was. She even refused Freddie and Gibby’s offer of taking her to the dance instead. She started to prepare for a night indoors when a surprise visitor arrived -- her dad.

Carly was overjoyed as expected and attended the dance with her father. When they returned to Spencer’s apartment, Carly excitedly planned more activities with her dad, but they were quickly shot down when he told her he had to leave almost immediately. She was heartbroken all over again until he offered to take her back to Italy. At first, Carly was hesitant, saying she couldn’t abandon her friends or their web show, but after Freddie and Sam assured her that it was no problem, she decided to leave with her father.

Before Carly left, she shot a final episode of the show with Sam. She also finally shared a kiss with Freddie, although the two didn’t speak of it after that. The episode concluded with Carly on the plane to Italy watching old iCarly videos. Spencer and Freddie didn't have any dramatic changes; They both remained in their apartment building. Sam set off on her new bike to explore the West Coast. Incidentally, it was on this trip where she met Cat Valentine, and they had their own adventures in Sam & Cat.

Paramount+'s revival of iCarly stars Miranda Cosgrove, Nathan Kress, Jerry Trainor, Laci Mosley and Jaidyn Triplett. It will premiere on June 17.
