Paramount+ is set to debut its iCarly revival on June 17, which is coming up quickly. However, fans of the hit Nickelodeon series and newcomers still have time to watch the original series to remind themselves of Carly's teenage antics with her friends. The original iCarly ran for six seasons with 109 episodes, making it a hefty show to fully rewatch before its revival releases. To help with that, here are six episodes for those looking to catch up on Carly and the gang's past before diving into their future adventures.

iPilot (Season 1)

"iPilot" introduces fans to Carly, her best friends Sam and Freddie and her brother Spencer for the first time. The pilot episode shows how Carly and her friends come up with the in-universe, titular web show, and the unlikely circumstances that led to them creating it. Many fans may be surprised to re-learn that a certain unlikeable teacher is the main catalyst for the web show's creation. Filled with zany, entertaining talent acts for their first show, the pilot does an excellent job of introducing viewers to the iCarly gang and establishes the web show's origin.

iGot Detention (Season 1)

Carly and her friends reach major milestones with their web show, but their first is arguably the most exciting. The Season 1 episode "iGot Detention" sees the gang getting ready for their 50th webcast. Sam gets detention from a grumpy teacher, Mr. Howard, so Carly and Freddie decide to also get detention and broadcast the show from there.

The episode is a great take on the classic "Will they get away with it?" scenario. Carly and Sam film their 50th Web Show Spectacular while making sure Mr. Howard doesn't catch them in the act. It also features Spencer and his ever-loveable antics as he sculpts a giant coffee cup from the hit coffee store chain Skybucks Coffee. Overall, "iGot Detention" is a perfect example of the whacky humor Nickelodeon shows were known for at the time.

iGo to Japan (Season 2)

icarly

Initially airing as a feature-length movie, the three-part special iGo to Japan has Carly and the gang travel to Japan after being nominated for the annual iWeb Awards. Kyoko and Yuki, hosts of a rival Japanese web show, act kindly toward the group to sabotage iCarly's chances at the awards. The episode does a great job of taking the iCarly gang out of their normal environment. Mrs. Benson also has a chance to shine, being heavily featured in the extended runtime and working well off Spencer's zany and sporadic comedy style.

Being the first award nomination iCarly ever received, the iWeb Awards provides fans with an idea of just how far Carly, Sam and Freddie have come with their web show. Full of evil seaweed baths and impromptu comedy acts with Japanese security guards, "iGo to Japan" is a stand-out rewatch for fans of the series.

iThink They Kissed (Season 3)

From the start of the series, Freddie makes it clear that he has feelings for Carly. So of course fans were shocked when Freddie and Sam had their first kisses with each other in the Season 2 episode "iKiss." They swore not to ever speak about it, and they never did. That is until Sam tells Carly about the kiss while put under laughing gas in the Season 3 episode "iThink They Kissed."

Though comedy ensues from the reveal and the confusion around how Carly found out about the kiss (as Sam later thinks Freddie told Carly instead of herself), this episode does a great job of diving into the relationship of the three web show stars. Carly and Sam have been best friends for years and share everything with each other, making the revelation that Sam and Freddie shared a kiss and never told Carly a shocking thing for her to learn. Fans get a deeper look into the relationship between the three while also foreshadowing how that dynamic changes in the following seasons.

iSaved Your Life (Season 3)

The surprises keep ramping up in Season 3 as Freddie gets injured after pushing Carly out of the way of an oncoming taco truck in the episode "iSaved Your Life." Freddie escapes with just a broken arm and sprained leg to show for the debacle, and Carly is swept off her feet by his heroic deed. The two begin a romantic relationship that fans had been waiting to see for a long time (take that, Seddie shippers).

Of course, Sam has to rain on Freddie's parade by pointing out that Carly loves what Freddie did for her, not necessarily Freddie himself. The episode sees Freddie grapple with whether his new relationship with Carly is genuine and is an excellent rewatch for fans who enjoyed the "Seddie or Creddie" side of iCarly.

iGoodbye (Season 6)

Unfortunately, everything must come to an end (until it gets revived by a streaming service). The series finale "iGoodbye" had 6.43 million viewers watch as Carly, Sam and Freddie aired their final iCarly webcast. After being invited to live with her dad in Italy at the military base he is stationed at, Carly ultimately makes the decision to go and puts iCarly on hiatus. Tears ensue as the iCarly gang shares a heartfelt goodbye, and Spencer finally reveals to his father that he dropped out of law school.

The revival will likely touch on Carly's time in Italy, making the series finale a must-watch before the new show drops. The final goodbye of the original iCarly gang is also perfect for fans of the original series who loved watching Carly, Sam, Freddie and Spencer and their crazy, wacky antics for six seasons. With the revival just around the corner, there's no better way to prepare for it than by rewatching "iGoodbye."
