News broke Monday that Common will join Keanu Reeves in the sequel to "John Wick," but he's not alone.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ian McShane will reprise his role from the first film as Winston, owner of the Continental hotel, which caters to an exclusive clientele: assassins.

Reeves returns as the title character, a hitman who in the first film was drawn out of retirement by the brutal theft of his vintage car and the killing of his puppy (a gift from his late wife). Co-director Chad Stahelski is also back to helm the sequel solo.

Produced for just $20 million, "John Wick" became a surprise 2014 hit for Lionsgate, grossing $78.7 million worldwide.

A veteran actor known for his roles in "Sexy Beast," "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" and "Deadwood," McShane recently wrapped filming on the sixth season of "Game of Thrones."
