Directed by Anders Walter in his feature debut, the film deals with outcast fifth-grader Barbara Thorson (Madison Wolfe) who immerses herself in fantasy worlds, such as Dungeons & Dragons, to escape the harsh reality in which she lives. Her troubles leads to her interacting with giants she believes she's meant to fight, although it's uncertain if they're real or part of her coping with her personal issues.

The clip, unveiled by Entertainment Weekly, depicts Barbara walking through the woods with her friend Sophia (Sydney Wade) to check a she's set for the giants she believes are lurking near their homes. It also highlights Sophia's cynicism, as she tries to convince Barbara the giants may well be part of her imagination. (Note that the EW video player can't be embedded, so you'll have to watch the clip at the link.)
