Leorio is one of the main characters in Yoshihiro Togashi's Hunter x Hunter series, being one of Gon's closest friends. He is a Hunter who aims to become an excellent doctor.
Over time, Leorio has gone on to become one of the members of Zodiacs of the Hunter Association as well, thanks to his strength and stature. Although the weakest in his group, Leorio is still quite an impressive Nen user few can take on in battle. 10 Can Defeat: Pokkle
Pokkle took part in the 287th Hunter examination, just like Leorio and his friends. He ended up becoming a Beast Hunter and featured heavily throughout the Chimera Ant arc of the series.
His skills with Emission Nen techniques are quite decent, and something worthy of rivaling those of Leorio himself. However, Leorio has surpassed Pokkle, thanks to all the training in Nen he recently underwent.
9 Can't Defeat: Gon Freecss
Gon is a rookie Hunter and the protagonist of the Hunter x Hunter series. He is a tremendous Nen user and his growth has been staggering throughout the series. The likes of Wing and Biscuit consider Gon to be a generational talent.
In the Chimera Ant arc, Gon gave a glimpse of his true abilities to the fans and it was quite apparent that his powers are beyond anything that Leorio had shown so far.

Melody is a Music Hunter, one of the rarest types to have been introduced in the series. She made her appearance in Yorknew City, where the Phantom Troupe targeted the Nostrade family.
As a person, Melody is one of the best people for anyone to rely on, however, she isn't all that reliable in a fight. It goes without saying that Melody is one of the weakest characters in Hunter x Hunter and much weaker than Leorio.
7 Can't Defeat: Hisoka Morow
Hisoka is a former member of the Phantom Troupe and among the most ferocious fighters in the series. He is a Transmuter whose Nen has the properties of both rubber and gum, hence the name Bungee Gum.
Hisoka is capable of going head-to-head against some of the elites in the series. Leorio is still a rookie and has quite a long way to go if he is to even stand up to Hisoka in a fight.
6 Can Defeat: Tsezguerra
Jackpot Hunter Tsezguerra is one of the most underwhelming Hunters to appear in the series to date. Although he's knowledgeable enough to test the skills of others, he isn't all that powerful himself.
Leorio, who is known to be a decent user of Emission techniques, is easily on a level above Tsezguerra. Furthermore, he is also among the smartest characters in the series, which makes him a dangerous opponent for anyone.
5 Can't Defeat: Chrollo Lucilfer
The leader of the Phantom Troupe, Chrollo is a phenomenally powerful character who is easily among the most fierce characters seen in Hunter x Hunter. He is a Specialist whose ability, known as Skill Hunter, allows him to steal the Nen powers of others once a few requirements are met.
Chrollo was able to match and defeat Hisoka Morow in a fight in Heaven's Arena, and during the Yorknew City arc, he fought both Zeno and Silva Zoldyck at once.
4 Can Defeat: Meleoron
Meleoron was one of the Squadron Leaders of the Chimera Ant army and he played quite a significant role in the Chimera Ant arc of Hunter x Hunter.
Interestingly, Meleoron's physical prowess was lower than that of an average Squadron Leader. Although his ability to turn invisible is what makes him threatening, he is useful only as support during fights. Leorio can easily defeat him in combat.
3 Can't Defeat: Killua Zoldyck
Killua is a member of the Zoldyck family a trained assassin. He is an exceptional Nen user for someone of his age and he often draws comparisons to Gon Freecss himself.
Killua is quite an incredible Transmuter and in the Chimera Ant arc, he even put up a fight against Menthuthuyoupi, one of the Royal Guard of Meruem. His skill is on a whole different level than Leorio.
2 Can Defeat: Sequant
Sequant is a groundskeeper of the Zoldyck family and a Blacklist Hunter. He is known to be a powerful fighter, however, his proficiency with Nen appears to be lacking.
In the past, he failed to attack Kukuroo Mountain which indicates his skill isn't all that great. Leorio has taken on and defeated stronger opponents than him which is proof enough that he can take care of Sequant as well.
1 Can't Defeat: Isaac Netero
Known to be the strongest Hunter, Isaac Netero was the former Chairman of the Hunter Association. He is the only known person to have transcended the limitations of the human body and achieved power rivaling the likes of Meruem.
Netero is among the strongest characters in the series and it is easy to see that Leorio, a rookie Hunter, is not worthy of being compared to him.
