Ging is a double-star Hunter, known to be one of the most powerful characters in the Hunter x Hunter series. As a member of the Zodiacs, his strength was recognized by Netero himself.
Although he hasn't revealed his true powers to the fans just yet, he is considered to be one of the five best Nen users right now, which says a lot about his level. With years of experience and a high Nen proficiency, only a few characters are as powerful as Ging is, while most are far below his level. 10 On Ging's Level: Beyond
Beyond is the son of the former Chairman of the Hunter Association, Netero. Hailed as a very strong Hunter, he was first introduced during the Succession arc where he took part in the Dark Continent Expedition Team.
Beyond is known to be a strong character, evident from the fact that he has previously entered the Dark Continent and returned unharmed from there. His power is certainly around the same level as that of Ging.
9 Below: Gon
Gon is the protagonist of the Hunter x Hunter series who is known to possess tremendous potential. Despite being a kid, Gon is a great fighter. He is an Enhancement type Nen user whose skill can be compared to some of the adults of in universe already.
Although Gon has defeated many foes to date, he still has a long way to go. For now, he isn't on the same level as his father.
8 On Ging's Level: Netero
Netero was the former Chairman of the Hunter Association and made his introduction during the Hunter Exam arc of the series.
Known to have been the strongest Hunter in his prime, Netero's Nen powers were beyond anything a human had demonstrated in the series so far. He was the only one to be able to put up a fight against and hurt Meruem. He was certainly stronger than Ging.
7 Below: Killua
Killua is a prodigious Hunter and a member of the legendary Zoldyck family. Despite being young, he possesses insane physical abilities, which he was able to acquire thanks to intense training.
After having learned the basics of Nen, Killua has become stronger than an average Hunter. However, Ging is anything but average. His level of skill with Nen and experience are both beyond Killua's grasp.
6 On Ging's Level: Meruem
Meruem was the King of Chimera Ants and the most powerful being in the Hunter X Hunter universe. He possessed insane speed, strength, and durability which made him nigh invincible.
Meruem's skill with Nen was known to be incredible and a glimpse of his powers was shown to us in his fight against Netero. Despite Netero throwing everything his way, he ultimately won the battle, showcasing just how terrifyingly strong he was.
5 Below: Kurapika
Kurapika is one of the main characters of the Hunter x Hunter series and a close friend of Gon. He specializes in Conjuration based techniques, and his prowess with Nen is maximized upon using Scarlett Eyes.
While Kurapika is tremendously powerful, his skills are best utilized against the members of the Phantom Troupe. When compared to someone like Ging, it is easy to see that Kurapika is far below his level for now.
4 On Ging's Level: Neferpitou
Neferpitou was one of the three Royal Guards of Meruem and one of the most fearsome characters in the series. They possessed an amazing Nen ability which let them spike their physical prowess greatly. Furthermore, Pitou also had the ability to control others like puppets with their Nen.
They had fought against Kite, who was considered to be much more powerful than a normal Hunter. Without a doubt, their level of skill was at least on par with that of Ging, if not higher.
3 Below: Hanzo
One of the most intriguing rookie Hunters, Hanzo was introduced during the Hunter Exam arc. Back then, he was, without a doubt, stronger than most participants there. With time, he's progressed quite a lot and has learned Nen, growing stronger in the process.
In terms of strength, he was superior to Gon, which is pretty impressive, to say the least. However, an expert Hunter like Ging is definitely leagues above him right now.
2 On Ging's Level: Menthuthuyoupi
Like Neferpitou, Youpi was a member of the Royal Guard of King Meruem. Among the three, he was hinted to be the strongest, in terms of physical strength. He possessed a massive Nen pool and it let him fight some of the strongest Hunters out there.
Youpi's skill as an Enhancer and an Emitter, along with his ability to get stronger while fighting is proof enough that he was as skilled as Ging. In fact, his power level was likely higher than that of Ging.
1 Below: Leorio
Leorio is one of the closest friends of Gon, Killua, and Kurapika. He has a noble aim of becoming a doctor in order to help those who can't afford them.
Unlike the other three members of the group, Leorio isn't as talented a Hunter. Although he's not weak by any means, he's certainly not extraordinary either. When compared to Ging, he's vastly inferior.
