Humble Bundle and Kodansha Comics have launched the Humble Manga Bundle: Spring 2021 Anime Season in support of Stop AAPI Hate.

In response to recent attacks against the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities in the United States, Humble and Kodansha have put together a bundle containing $930 worth of digital manga with a starting donation of $1.00. The bundle is broken into five different tiers ($1, $10, $18, $25 and $30), each one unlocking different volumes of popular manga series such as Shaman King, To Your Eternity, The Seven Deadly Sins and Eden Zero. Proceeds from each donation will support Stop AAPI Hate, with the option to also support the charity directly. The Humble Manga Bundle initiative will last through April 29.

Humble Bundle is a digital platform that sells games, ebooks, software and a subscription service, with an emphasis on supporting charity. In March, Humble donated some of its proceeds from its previous initiatives -- Humble Burn Rubber Bundle and Humble Software Bundle: Biggest Graphics Ever -- to Stop AAPI Hate. The charity was founded by the Asian Pacific Policy and Planning Council, Chinese for Affirmative Action and San Francisco State University’s Asian American Studies Department with the goal of addressing discrimination against Asians.

Kodansha Comics is the U.S. subsidiary of Kodansha LTD in Japan that licenses English-language versions of manga along with other Japanese fiction and non-fiction publications. The collaboration with Humble Bundle to support Stop AAPI Hate is Kodansha's first initiative to support the charity in wake of recent attacks against Asian Americans.
