Hulk is being manipulated by forces beyond this world in the debut clip for Marvel's "Hulk: Where Monsters Dwell." The animated film, which premiered this weekend at New York Comic Con, pits the Incredible Hulk, Doctor Strange and the Howling Commandos against Nightmare in a war for the waking world.
In the scene below, Doctor Strange attempts to talk sense to the Hulk, who's being manipulated by the ruler of the Dream Dimension, Nightmare. Instead, Nightmare convinces Hulk that he's being controlled by Bruce Banner, whom the Green Goliath promptly sets off to confront.
Nightmare is a frequent foe of Doctor Strange who receives his power from the collective energy of the dreams of humanity, which is only capable dreaming (and thus retaining its sanity) while the Dream Dimension is intact. In "Hulk: Where Monsters Dwell," Nightmare uses the Dream Dimension to turn dreamers into monsters.
