X-Men star Hugh Jackman celebrated the film's 20th anniversary by tweeting a behind-the-scenes video of Wolverine.

The video features a never-before-seen clip of Jackman in costume fighting a Wolverine action figure. Jackman tweeted the video with the caption, "So here’s the thing. When the studio called and asked if I could get in shape to play #Wolverine in 3 weeks. I might have over promised! But wouldn’t you have too? Happy 20th Anniversary X-Men Universe. #Xmen #20."

The original X-Men film, directed by Bryan Singer, was released in 2000 and marked the first film where Jackman took on the role of Logan/Wolverine. Jackman would go on to reprise his character in X2: X-Men United, X-Men: The Last Stand, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, X-Men: First Class, The Wolverine, X-Men: Days of Future Past, X-Men: Apocalypse and Logan.

The X-Men franchise concluded last year with the release of Dark Phoenix. The rights have now been acquired by Disney and the films will eventually be available via Disney+ streaming service.
