A number of vaccines are currently rolling out across the globe to help combat the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Among the millions now vaccinated is actor Hugh Jackman, who encouraged others to get their shots.The X-Men star, best known for his many appearances as Wolverine, recently got his jab -- it's unknown if it was his first or second -- and wrote on social media, "Wolverine's healing ability can't save me from COVID. Reports show that more than 754 million vaccines have been administered worldwide, though only a fraction of those with access have recieved both required doses. In the U.S., 183 million jabs have been given and 70.7 million people have been fully vaccinated. President Biden recently announced that all adults in the United States will be able to receive their vaccines by April 19.

Hugh Jackman debuted as Wolverine in 2000's X-Men and reprised the role for the next two instalments in the original trilogy. He appeared in subsequent films throughout the franchise until 2017's Logan, which signaled his retirement from the iconic role after almost two decades and nine films. Logan received critical acclaim and grossed $619 million on a budget of $127 million.
