Whether you loved X-Men Origins: Wolverine or not — I'm guessing not, for many of you — you're about to get another dose of the adamantium-laced mutant as Hugh Jackman prepares for a Wolverine sequel.

Deadline Hollywood reports that Jackman has dropped out of 20th Century Fox's Avon Man, director Kevin Lima's comedy about a group of unemployed auto workers who are forced to sell beauty products to get by. Although he'll still serve as a producer on the comedy, Jackman reportedly left Avon Man for Wolverine 2, another Fox project and undoubtedly a bigger priority for the studio as it continues to work on reviving the X-Men brand with director Matthew Vaughn's First Class and the fabled Deadpool spinoff starring Ryan Reynolds.

According to the report, the Wolverine sequel could begin shooting as soon as next year, with the film still set to take place in Japan.
